【Abstract】 An immunochemical study on 88 cases of breast lesion with proliferating Cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) and monoclonal antibody was carried out and compared with his-tograding of breasrt carcinoma and analysis of lymphatic metastasis. The result indicates:the positive rate of benign breast lesion is 16% , breast carcinoma 73. 02% with a significant dif-ference (P<0.01). It revealed a close relationship between the PCNA index and the his-tograding of breast carcinoma, and lymphatic metastasis. The authors suggest that PCNA assessment is objective, dependable in differentiating benign breast lesion from the malignat lesion and histograding, lymphatic metastasis.
