寻找旋转对称图像主方向的算法
METHOD FOR ORIENTATION DETECTION OF ROTATIONALLY SYMMETRIC IMAGE
【摘要】 本文提出了一种寻找旋转对称图像RSI(Rotationally Symmetric Image)主方向的算法.[2,2π)内周期数为K的图像f(r,θ)具有性质f(r,θ)=g(r,Kθ),寻找图像f(r,θ)主方向归结于寻找展开图像g(r,θ)的主方向.文中就g(r,θ)所具有的各种情形作了系统的分析,并与FPA和FISSP作了比较.实验结果表明本文所提出的算法,较FPA和FISSP具有更广泛的适用范围.
【Abstract】 A new method is proposed to detect the orientation of rotationally symmetric image. A K-fold rotationally symmetric shape (K-RSS), f(r,θ), being angularly periodic with period 2π/K, is proved to have the property: f(r,θ ) = g(r,Kd), where g(r,θ ) is called a fold-expanded shape. With this property, the orientation of f(r,θ) can be detected through defining the orientation of g(r,θ), A series of complicated situations about the fold-expanded shape, g(r,θ), are investigated in this paper. An algorithm describing the construction of FPO and several illustrative examples showing the detected principal orientation of distinct types are given. The method proposed is also compared with fold principal axes (FPA) and fold-invariant shape-specific points (FISSP).
