【Abstract】 CO2 has been used in steelmaking and teeming instead of argon for more than ten years. It is used for BOF bottom strring, ladle stirring, AOD treatment, continuous caster shrouding, stream shrouding and ingot mould puring and as ladle, tundish and ladle furnace inert gas. CO2 is much cheaper than Ar. The results of using CO2 as well as Ar show that the quality level of steel is equivalent.更多还原
