【Abstract】 A huge lattice shell designed to cover a 400 meter speed-skating track is built in Harbin for the 1996 winter Asian Games.This huge shell consists of a central barrel vault with two half-domes at both ends,and has a pseudo-elliptical plan with an overall area of 86.2×191.2m.At present,it is the largest roof structure in China.This double-layer lattice shell adopts quadrilateral pyramid net system for the central barrel vault and triangular pyramid net system for the two half-domes,all the mesh sides being about 3m.The height(thickness)of the double-layer shell is 2.1m and the steel consumption of the structure is about 50 kg/m2 in projection area.更多还原
