应用直流电位法检评PDC钻头复合片

【摘要】 针对PDC钻头制造中复合片开裂的问题,采用直流电位法对复合片质量进行了检测评价。介绍了直流电位法检测复合片衬垫裂纹和空隙等表面缺陷的原理和方法,并通过与金相显微观察和焊接试验结果的对比分析,找出了导致复合片在焊接中开裂的主要原因是复合片衬垫存在制造裂纹。对300片复合片的检测和试验结果证明,直流电位法检测的正确率为98.3%。由该方法检测合格的复合片在焊接过程中基本不开裂。从而为PDC钻头制造厂家提供了方便有效的复合片质量无损检测方法、该方法在华北油田太行钻头厂推广应用情况表明,可节约钻头制造成本5.1%~10.2%,经济效益明显。

【Abstract】 The principle of DC(direct current)potential method for inspecting the quality of PDC is described, and the facters affecting their measurement and regularity are found out. It is shown by metallographic analysis and welding experiments that breaking of PDC when welding could be attributed to the metallurgical fissures in the PDC inserts. The results of the measurement and experiment for 300 sheets of PDC demonstrate that the coincidence rate of the DC potential method is 98. 3%. The PDC qualified after having been inspected by the DC potential method did not break in the welding. Therefore,a convenient, effective and non-destructive test method can be provided for PDC bit manufacture factory.By the results of its use of this method in Taihang Bit Factory of Huabei Oilfield,the bit manufacturing cost decreases 5. 1 %-10.2%.
