【Abstract】 In generall,the amount of interference of the ball is increased to improve the rigidity ofarolling linear guide. However,the amount of interference should not be too large,other-wise a 4-point contact will result and the differential sliding friction force will be greatly in-creased.By assembling the ball with a proper amount of interference,the contact can bemaintained as a 2-point one so that the differential sliding friction force will be reduced andthe rigidity of the guide improved. Based on the criterion for minimum sliding friction forcein a contact area, the optimization of the amount of interference of ball under a given exter-nal load is discussed.更多还原
