【Abstract】 Based on structured analysis methods IDEF0 and SD and Windows environment,a newCAD system for bevel gearing transmission has been developed;The ways of working outthe function model and structural model for the CAD system are discussed and the user inter-face and optimum mathematical mdoel with mixed discrete variables are described.ResuIts ofpractical engineering significance are given,The system developed has an audio-visual inter-face and is easy to operate.
