【Abstract】 1. 42 species of benthic algae were collected in the intertidal zone of Muguan Island, in May and November, 1990. They are 6 chlorophyta, 13 Phaeophyta and 23 Rhodophytai The marine algae flora off Muguan Island coast is temperate water in nature, being proportionately more warm temperate than cold temperate.2. The community composition of the benthic algae is dominated by Rhodophyta.3.
