激光光解和脱附法产生超热氯原子

【摘要】 本文采用355nm脉冲激光脱附和光解一些金属氯化物(CuCl2,AgCl和CsCl)薄膜产生高动能的超热氯原子.用飞行时间质谱法测得生成的Cl原子的动能分布很宽,最大动能可达6eV左右.氯化物薄膜厚度对Cl原子的最大动能有明显的影响.增加激光能量密度将使Cl原子最大动能迅速增高.此外,还讨论了上述产生起热Cl原子的机理.

【Abstract】 Abstract The irradiation of metal chloride films (e. g. CsCl, AgCl and CuCl2) on the transparent substrate by a pulsed UV(355nm)laser is used to produce intense pulses of hyperthcrmal Cl atoms. The kinetic energy distributions of of atoms are measured by a time-of-flight mass spectrometer and has a broad energy distribution in the range from 0.0leV to 5.6eV. The most probable kinetic energy of Cl atoms, which is quoted as the corresponding to the maximun of the time-of-flight trace,can be increased by increasing film thickness and laser fluence. These results might be explained by laser-induced explosive dcsorption and shock wave heatingmechanisms.
