多金属结核生长波动率及古环境意义

【摘要】 本文采用生长波动率(△S)这个新的概念和指标,研究多金属结核(亦称铁锰结核、锰结核)生长过程中生长速率(S)的变化规律,提取结核壳层中的古环境信息.重建结核生长历史。研究结果表明:多金属结核生长具有多阶段、多成因的特点,生长速率的波动是古环境变化的反映。

【Abstract】 In this paper,growth wavy rate (△S) is defined as △S= (S-SN)/SN, where 5 is the growth rate of polymetallic nodule samples,and SN is 8. 607mm/Ma, the average growth rate of ploymetallic nodules in the Clarian-Clipperton Area in the Eastern Pacific Basin, which is calculated from the concentration of Fe and Mn.According to concentration of Mn and Fe, Mn/Fe,growth rates and growth wavy rates of crust microlayers of polymetallic nodules CCA33、CCB29、CCC50、CCC14 from the Eastern Pacific Basin, new information on nodule growth and paleoenvironment are derived as the following.1) Polymetallic nodules forming processes can be divided into many stages with different Mn/Fe,growth rates and growth wavy rates.2) Microlayers in a nodule crust have different forming mechanisms.3) Nodule crusts recorded anoxic events: 2. 849 - 2. 812Ma B. P. in the Seamount-Plateau Area in the Clarian-Clipperton Area,0. 273-0. 203 Ma B. P. and 0.126-0. 084Ma B. P. in the west of the Hills Area,0. 516 - 0. 492Ma B.P. ,0. 471-0. 412Ma B. P. and 0.147-0.103Ma B. P. in the east of the Hills Area,2. 015-1. 995Ma B. P. in the Basin Area in the CC Area.4) According to the data of the nodule crust uppermost layer, it is known that nodule CCA33 from the Seamount-Plateau Area is in hiatus stage since 2. 370Ma B. P. ,growth rates of the uppermost layer of nodules CCB29,CCC50 from the Hills Area are 22.216mm/Ma, 19. 399mm/Ma,and the growth rate of nodule CCC14 is 11. 430mm/Ma since 0. 306 Ma B. P.
