【Abstract】 CIO₂ is one kind of disinfectant extensively used in environmental health disinfection.Its toxicity was studied in animal experiments. It was found that its oral LD50 in mice was 134. 90 mg/kg （95% confidence limits was 113.76-159. 96 mg/kg）. Skin irritation test with 0.1- 0.5% showed no local irritative reactions. Eye irritation test indicated that 0. 5% had some irritatitive effect on conjunctiva. Both micronucleus and sperm tests in mice were negative. On the basis of the experimental results it is considered that the disinfectant is safe to use in disinfection practice.更多还原
