【Abstract】 A new three-moment method is presented. The proposed method considers not only the means and variances of random variables, but also the influences of skewness of probabilistic distribution. Because more characteristics of random variables to be concerned with reliability analysis are maintained, the precision of reliability analysis can be increased.
