CdxHg1-xTe/SiO2固溶体微晶掺杂玻璃三阶非线性光学性质的
THE STUDY OF THE THIKD ORDER OPTICAL NONLINEARITIES OF CdxHg1-xTe/SiO2 SEMICONDUCTOR SOLUTION-DOPED GLASSES
【摘要】 本文首次报道了对采用溶胶凝胶和原位生长工艺制备的CdxHg1-xTe/SiO2固溶体微品掺杂玻璃进行的三阶非线性光学性质实验研究及其结果。利用回返式简并四波混频技术,测得该固溶体掺杂玻璃的三阶非线性极化率的值为10 ̄(-12)esu量级。此结果比纯SiO2基体提高了2个数量级。表明该固溶体掺杂玻璃三阶非线性明显增强,在同样条件下,测得CS2的三阶非线性极化率x(3)为(1.7±0.2)×10 ̄(-12)esu,与国际上报道完全一致。
【Abstract】 CdxHg1-x Te/SiO2 semiconductor solution-doped glasses were sucessfully prepared by thesol-gel process and in-situ growth techniques. The third optical susceptibilities x(3)are measured byretroreflection scheme degenerate four-wave mixing(DFWM)method.Their values of x(3)were in rangeof 10-12 esu,which were about 2 orders of magnitude as high as SiO2 glass matrix. Thus the third orderoptical nonlinearity of the semiconductor solution-doped glasses is largely enhanced.Under identicalcondition,the value o x(3)for CS2 was(1.7±0. 2)10-12 esu,which is fairly consistent with the reportedvalues,the values of x(3)for the semiconductor solution-doped glasses prepared by the sol-gel processwere firstly published and new.
