【Abstract】 The basic functions of the CO₂ Coherent Laser Radar（CLR）,some factors which should be considered in designe and the priclples to measure the range and attitude are all discussed in this pa-per.On the basis of those above,a CLR for our RVD has been designed and is demonstrated experi-mently in the lanboratory.
