掺铒光纤放大器的理论分析:二能级近似
Theoretical Modeling of Erbium-Doped Fiber Amplifiers:Two-Level Approximation
【摘要】 本文针对存在和不存在受激态吸收(ESA)两种情况分别推导了当有多束光在掺铒光纤中传播时掺饵光纤放大器的速率方程组,并通过合理的近似将这些方程转换成二能级模型下的一组方程。对1480nm泵浦的掺铒光纤放大器进行了研究,理论分析结果与实验结果一致。
【Abstract】 Rate equations were derived for erbium-doped fiber amplifiers (EDFA)pumped at the wavelengths with or without excited-state absorption(ESA ).respectively. By reasonable approximations, these equations were simplified to a two-level model. As an example, the theoretical and experimental results were compared for an EDFA LD-pumped at 1480nm.
