磁光盘存贮中偏振信息的检测
Detection of Polarized Information in Mo Storage Systems
【摘要】 磁光盘存贮以磁光克尔效应为基础,为有效地检测出读出光束中包含的偏振信息,用琼斯矢量分析方法,讨论了读取光束偏振态对磁光信号的影响,光学系统中双折射,振幅、位相特性与偏振态的关系。给出了光学系统的优化设计,采用高偏振性能光学元件,优化其光学参数,引入相位补偿,消除双折射,相移的影响,保证读光束高线偏振性,增大了读光束克尔旋转角,提高了系统的信噪比。
【Abstract】 Magneto-optieal(MO) disk storage is based on MO Kerr effect.It’s very important to detectthe polarized imformation of read-out beam efficiently. Jones Vectors are applied to analyze the influence ofpolarization on the rcad-out signal and relation between polarization and phase feature of optical system.AMO head and its optimum design are presented. In this optieal head.high performance polarizers and phasecompensator are used. The influence of the birefraction and phase shift are limited,and linear polarizedread-out beam is acquired,MO Kerr rotary angle is amplified,and high signal-to-noiSe-ratio(SNR)isobtained
