【Abstract】 A new ingredient ZrO₂ is added into basic coating ingredients of domestic stairless steel electrodes and the influence of ZrO₂ on the technological properties of the stainless steel electrode is investigated through the measurements of its surface temperature and droplet size and observation of droplet transfer by using a high-speed photography. The results show that the addition of ZrO₂ of about 4%into the electrode coating will reduce the droplet size and surface temperature of the electrode,resulting in a comprehensive improve-ment of the technological properties.更多还原
