【Abstract】 This paper studied the plating process of amorphous chromium coatings from trivalent chromium solution. The composition of coating has been measured by EDX and WDX methods. The structure of coating also has been measured by XRD.This paper has discovered that the coating contain a little amount of carbon and has the characteristic peak of the amorphous coatings when 2θ is equal to 43°.
