【Abstract】 FeZSM-5, Fe2O3/ZSM-5 and Fe-AlZSM-5 zeolites were synthesized. The states of iron in the samples were investigated by means ofXRD,FTIR,ESR, XPS and Mossbauer techniques. The frameworkiron content was determined quantitatively on basis of TPR in combination with composition analysis. The results of ethylbenzene oxydehydrogenation over the samples indicate that the as-synthesized FeZSM-5not only has acidic catalytic function but also shows oxydehydrogenativecatalytic function very well. The framework iron in FeZSM-5 may bethe main active component for ethylbenzene oxydehydrogenation and theactivity increases with increasing iron content.
