【Abstract】 This article is researched the characterisdcs of the equidistance lins and their applications in the roadbuilding construction.In the roadbuilding constructions, the centre line of road is usually used for setting-out the equidistance lines, such as the border line of the subgradc, border line of the motor highway, the border line of the non-motor road, and the line of the protecting fence, etc. In this paper, by use of the relation of the equidistance lines, the equidistance lines can be directly set out.
