【Abstract】 The main theoretical research works on the stress distribution and flow of granular material in two-dimensional hoppers are evaluated.The reason of a dis- continuous solution existing in the passive stress state is analysed.The approxi- mate methods,which give continuous solutions,are compared with discontinuous one.The stability of equations is not equivalent to the one of the radial solution. Finally,the formulas of flow rate given by different authors are evaluated.更多还原
