【Abstract】 Hong-she analgesic solution(HS)is a compound medicine.It is made of many kindsof TCM,which has been used in treatment of the pain caused by arthritis.HS decreased the occur-rence of writhing response caused by HAC,raised the threshold in hot plate test in mice.The anti-inflammatory effect of the solution was shown by xylene-induced swelling of mice ears.Futher-more,it blocked the action potential of isolated sciatic nerves in toads.Injection of the solution in-to the subaraehnoid space of the rabbit lumbar area initiated almost immediately the anesthetic ac-tion.These results suggest that the HS may act as a new analgesic and anti-inflammatory drug.更多还原
