【Abstract】 Using immunofluorescence technique and Virus isolation method,We have investigated the direct passage of Hemorrhagic Fever Renal Syhdrome (HFRS) Virus from mother to fetus through umbilical-cord.A HFRS Virus was isolated from umbilical-cord blood of a premature new-born baby of a HFRS Virus infected mother. Astibodies (IgM and IgG)against HFRS Virus were also found in the blood of the mother,umbilical cord and new-boun baby.The samples were taken under strict sterilized condition. It was unlikely that any contamination could occur during the experiments.Thus, from our study it is coucluded that the babby was directly infected by the HFRS Virus from mother through umbilical-cord更多还原
