【Abstract】 The Kappa-selenocarrageenan is a new type of orgnic selenium compound. The wistar rats divided into 5 groups were fed of diets with O. 5, 25. 125.and 420 ppm of the Kappa-selenocarrageenan respectively for 12 weeks. The results showed that the serum selenium levels in the test groups were significantly higher than that in the controt group.
