【Abstract】 This article is to introduce a new facilitation technique-electric nerve trunk stimulation and to compare its effects with those of Chinese acupuncture on hemiplegic acroparalysis. 114 cases were divided randomly into 2 groups: electric stimulation (ES) group and acupuncture group. The subjects in ES group were given electric stimulation to the main nerves in their affected limbs. Those in acupuncture group were given. Chinese acupuncture on selected acupoints. All the patients in both groups were evaluated on discharge . strictly following the National Criterion on Outcome Evaluation of Cerebrovascular Diseases. The results of Riddit analysis showed that electric nerve trunk stimulation was more effective than the traditional Chinese acupuncture in terms of recovery from acroparalysis and restoration of fine movement (P<0. 05). The mechanism of electric nerve stimulation and Chinese acupuncture in treatiifg hemiplegic acroparalysis was discussed.更多还原
