【摘要】 自１９７６年湖南大面积推广杂交水稻以来，年种植面积已扩大到４１００万亩，占水稻种植面积的６０％，１８年累计推广４．３亿亩，增产稻谷３００多亿ｋｇ，对推动湖南粮食生产和农村经济的发展发挥了巨大作用。文中还总结了１８年来推广杂交水稻的经验，随着科技的进步，杂交水稻必将在农业生产中作出新的贡献。更多还原

【Abstract】 The commercial production of hybrid rice was begun in Hunan Province in 1976.Now the annu-al area under hybrid rice has risen to 2.733 mil. hectares occupying 60%of the rice grown area in theprovince. During the past 18 years,the accumulated area of hybrid rice amounted to 28.667 mil.hectares andthe paddy increased by it was more than 30 mil. tons in all. The major experiences in developing hybrid riceare as follows:1)Before new hybrids are released to farmers, the experiments and productional demonstra-tions must be done to decide on the feasibility and adaptability in the extension.2)Make efforts to increasethe yield in CMS lines’multiplication and hybrid seed production and ensure the seed quality to meet the in-creasing needs.(3)Improve the cultural practices and management.(4)Strenthen the support of governmentsat all levels in developing hybrid rice. With two-line hybrid rice and better three-line rice hybrids released tofarmers, hybrid rice will surely continue to play a key role in the food production of the province.更多还原
