【Abstract】 This paper reports 17 patients with inflammatory mass that occured 1 month to 15 years after appendectomy. The mass is one kind of regional chronic inflammatory proliferation caused by infection and foreign body reaction. According to the location, the masses were devided into two types: abdominal wall (11 cases)and abdominal cavity (6 cases). It is emphatically discussed in diagnosis, differential diagnosis and therapeutic methods of the inflammatory mass after appendectomy.更多还原
