【Abstract】 Four known compounds are isolated from the butanol fraction of the fresh inflorescences of Cistanche deserticola Ma (Orobanchaceae) for the first time. They are identified as 6-deoxyc-atalpol (Ⅰ), liriodendrin (Ⅱ), 3-epiloganic acid (Ⅲ ) and galactitol (Ⅳ).
