【摘要】 标引工具书是主题标引时必不可少的参考工具书。本文着重介绍了《MeSHAAL》、《Tree Structure》、《TN》和《Manual》 四种标引工具书的使用方法,详述了四者之间的内在联系,并告诫标引者,不能仅凭MeSHAAL标引,其它三种工具书也是必不可少的,应该配合使用,而且通过实例证明四种标引工具书对正确选择主题词所起的决定性作用,使标引者和检索者对几种标引工具书的作用和意义有一个更全面深入的了解,从而保证标引水平不断提高。更多还原

【Abstract】 Indexing reference books are the essential tools for subject indexing. This paper presents a detailed description of the four reference books for indexing: (MeSHAAL) , (Tree Structure) , (TN, and (Manual) , and their inter-relations. It was suggested that MeSHAAL should be used in combination with the other three indexing reference books, examples were offered to demonstrate the importance of combined use of them in the correct selection of subject headings.
