【Abstract】 This study describes a method for the bioassay of Calcitonin by estimating the blood calcium levels in Rats. The normal blood calcium value of rats is determined by an available method. The different route of adminstration, experiment condition and dose-response relationship are discussed. There is an insignificant difference between potency restimated by subcutaneous and intravenous injections based on 3 calcitonin preparations of different types.更多还原
