【Abstract】 he highright atrium (HA) and low right atrial septum (AS) were stim -ulated in 30 patients to compare A-V nodal conduction times(A-H intervals)and to detect which site was more likely to find out dual A-V nodal pathwaysand gap phenomena. The results showedthat A-H intervals between AH stim- ulation and AS stimulation were highly significantly different(P<0. 01)andthat there was better chance to find out dual A-V nodal pathways and gapphenomena during AS stimulation. The mechanism lies in that the conductionsof impulses from different pace-makers in the atrium vary in the pathways intheatrium, in the parts of the atrionodal area through which the impulsesconduct to the A-V node and in the-directions within the node. Therefore,different electrophysiological effects are brought about when different sites in the atrium are stimulated.更多还原
