【Abstract】 The experiment and research was made on the stability of the multilaver (1 - 6 layers)exter-nal pressure cylinder. The result demonstracted that the critical pressure of the instability of the multilayer cylinder was lower clearly than the sum of theoretical value of critical pressure of each layer and much lower than the theortical value of critical pressure of single layer cylinder in same thickness. The more the layers, the larger the difference. It is proposed not to use the multilayer construction in the design of external pressure cylinder.更多还原
