褪黑素对光照制度改变影响的对抗作用

【摘要】 将光:暗=14∶10与暗∶光=14∶10两种光照制度每3天轮换1次,模拟时差刺激,观察此种刺激对免疫功能、抗应激能力及寿命等指标的影响以及褪黑素在其中的作用。结果表明:光照制度的改变导致小鼠免疫功能的显著低下,果蝇的抗应激能力、活动力显著下降、寿命明显缩短。给予褪黑素能显著对抗光照制度改变引起的免疫功能低下,抗应激能力及活动力的降低,显著延长果蝇的寿命。据此认为:褪黑素对光照制度改变造成的影响有显著的对抗作用。

【Abstract】 The physiological functions of mice and fruit flies were observed under the light-dark regime changing condition,which was alternated from LD 14:10 to DL14:10 every three days.It was found that the activities of fruit flies decreased, the ability of anti-cold stress weakened and the life span of the fliec shortened after this light-dark regime change. Duing adding melatonin(MT)0.215 or 2.15μmol.kg-1 into the feeding medium, the activities and the anti-cold stress response improved and the life span of the flles lengthened. In the case of mice, immune function decreased after 18 days light-dark regime change. When MT 5μg. kg-1 ip was applied to the animals,the decreased immune function recovered significantly. However, the metabolism and some free radical parameters remained unchange after MT administration.It is suggested that MT produced a significant effect against Light-dark regime change and might possess a new mechanism for life span, which is different from other antiaging medicine.
