【Abstract】 The properties,characteristics and applications of solar control costing glass (curtain wall glass) is discussed. The three layers structure, the metallic layer as the solar control film, the compoud layer of transition metals as the protective layer and the oxide layer to creat reflective colour, is needed to form a perfect solar control coating. The principle of magnetron sputtering, that is the main technique to produce curtain wall glass,is briefly introduced.
