沃尔什(Walsh)子带分析/综合快速算法
A Fast Algorithm for Walsh Subband Analyser/Synthesizer
【摘要】 子带编码(SubbandCoding,SBC)近年来已成为一种很有潜力的图象编码方法。传统的子带分析/综合都是以富氏频谱为基础,以一对具有混叠抵消特性的线性相位滤波器实现的。本文从子带分割的基本思想出发,从广义频率-列率入手,在沃尔什变换域上构造出一种子带分析/综合器。文中证明了该算法的理想恢复特性,并最终推导出一组时域算子掩膜。理论分析及实验结果表明,该算法无论是性能还是算法复杂度、运算速度及内存开销上都明显优于经典的子带分割方法。
【Abstract】 Subbend coding has become quite a potential method for image coding in recent years. The classical subband analyser/synthesizer is based on Fourier transform, implemented with a pair of alias- free FIR filters.In this paper, we present a new subband analyser/synthesizer which is baded on Walsh transform, in other words,the Fourier frequency is replaced with generialized frequency - sequency. We’ve proved that this new method exhibits ideal recovery property, and a set of time domain masks is derived for its fast computation, Theotetical analysis and experiments show that it is much more superior than the classical subband coding methods on performance、algorithm complexity、 computation speed and memory allocation.
