【Abstract】 n statistics,we usually make statistical prediction by using the regetrssionanalysis,particulary in the case where the system model is linear.This papor combines the linearregression model with the iufluence diagram method which is a new method of decision analysis,andmakes the statistical prediction from the view of decision. This method need not estimate the unknownparamter a and β in the linear regression model,and only need to use the joint distributionp(a,β).
