Through analysis of the effects of different irrigation water quota upon crop yield, it isshown that the irrigation with small water quota is an effective way to increase the yield and save water. On this basis, two important Parameters in deter mination of the quota are put forwad, and, especially, some new ideas of the criterion of the proper depth of Wetting Zone are discussed.
