【Abstract】 This paper deals with a new species of Milesia Latreillc from Wuyi Shan, Fujian Province of China. Type specimen is deposited in the Insect Collection of Shanghai Agricultural College.Milesia nigriventris He et Chu, sp. nov.Male: Length 17 mm, wing length 12mm. Face blackish brown, except medially paler brown, dorsomedially yellow, Frons yellow, with yellow pruinose. Head, see Fig. 1. Legs mainly blackish brown; apex and anterior surface of front and middle femora, apical two-fifths of hind femur, as well as basal segments of middle and hind tarsi brown. Middle trochantcr with irregular apicoventral wrinkles. Hind femur, sec Fig.2.Colour of abdominal tergites (Fig.5) black with posterior margin of tergite 1-3 yellowish brown.Female unknown.This species belongs to the Milesia quantula group. It is very similar in appearance to Burmise M. quantula Hippa, but differs from the latter by the following characters: larger in size; posterior half of wing mostly covered by microtrichia; antennae yellowish brown; gcnitalia (Figs. 6-8) different.Holotypc (?) , Fujian: Wuyi Shan, 1981. vi, collected by Jiang Nan.更多还原
