【Abstract】 Abstract It is a good method for Populus tomentosa propagation by using lateral and short roots of nursery stock as a cutting. The survial rate reaches to 95%, and stocking quality is higher. The thickness and length of root cuttings affect the survial rate greatly. The root cuttings with 0.6cm in diameter and 10cm in length could get a higher survial rate. The root cutting being cut from 1 to 4 lateral roots of 1 year old seedlings, and 2cm lateral root bottom being left in the top root, that will not affect the survial rate of afforestion and yong tree growth.更多还原
