厌氧条件下小球藻细胞的异养转化和乳酸发酵(简报)

【摘要】 <正> 某些藻类植物,如小球藻——一种单细胞绿藻,不但能利用无机碳源通过光合作用进行自养生长,还能利用有机碳源转化为异养生长,这种转化又是可逆的。迄今为止,对于人工控制下藻细胞向异养转化的代谢和调控机理尚不清楚。本文通过分析小球藻细胞异养转化过程对氧气的依赖性,进一步研究它们在厌氧条件下的生长和乳酸发酵特征,探讨可异养转化的单细胞藻类(作为特殊的实验生物系统)在发酵工程和细胞工程领域里应用的可能性。

【Abstract】 The oxygen uptake rate in heterotro-phic growth Chlorella protothecoides was relative high. There was a peak of oxygen uptake respiration at the early log phase of the all growth period of the algal cells. It was shown by measuring the cell growth curve and variation of chlorophyll content in cells that the autotrophic algal cells could carry out heterotrophic trans-feration normally under aerobic condition, but could not complete heterotrophic trans-feration under anaerobic condition bothin dark and in light. The algal cells which had completed heterotrophic transfera-tion also could grow slowly without oxygen and meanwhile the amount of lactic acid increased greatly both in cells and in medium. Most amount of lactic acid was released to the medium at the third day anaerobic growth of the cells. Heterotrophic transferation and lactic fermentation of Chlorella protothecoides had shown a good applied potential in micro-algal biotechnology.
