【Abstract】 small-scale isolation method for analysis of gangliosides in serum is described.After extraction of gan-gliosides from 2 mL of serum and Folch’s partition, the purification and concentration were carried out by re-versed-phase liquid chromatography with a C₁₈ Sep-Pak cartridge and small latrobeads silica gel column.Then, the ganglioside contents in serum from normal persons and patients with cancer of the esophagus wereanalysed by TLC.
