【Abstract】 Sephadex LH-20 and silica gel centrifugal liq-uid chromatography were applied to isolationand purification of gangliosides from the pigbrain. The highly purified gangliosides wereobtained. The concentration of lipid-boundsialic acid determined is 30.1% (W/W). Theresults determined by silica gel G-60 HPTLCand 580nm scanning were GMl 19. 5%.
