镀膜金刚石的耐热性及其镀层作用机制
Heat Resistance of Coated Diamonds and Effect of the Coatings
【摘要】 本文运用化学镀方法在金刚石表面镀覆Ni-W(Mo,Zr)-B合金膜,对镀膜前后的金刚石进行了热失重分析(TGA),观测了在空气中或氮气中受热后金刚石的保留强度及形貌变化特征。结果表明,镀膜处理后金刚石的耐热性能得到了显著改善,镀层的热保护机制表现为隔氧和封闭金刚石表面“悬挂”C原子的双重作用。
【Abstract】 By using chemical reducing deposition techmque,three kinds of Ni-alloy coatings containing carbide-forming element(W, Mo or Zr ) were coated on the surface of ynthetic diamond. The heat resistance of the coated diamond is much better than that of uncoated diamond, proved by thermogravimetric analysis( TGA ),ompressive strength examination and SEM analysis of the morphology and microstructure of the diamonds after being annealed at 1000~1400℃ in air or argon gas. The alloy coatings act as a diffusion-barrier layer to separate the diamond from oxygen and to seal the dangling carbon bonds of diamond.
