【Abstract】 he seasonal changes and distribution of the chemical species of phosphorus,such as dissolved inorganic phosphorus (DIP),dissolved organic phosphorus (DOP),particulate phosphorus(PP) and total phosphorus(TP),in the areas with their relation to other parameters are discussed based on the survey data on nutrients(phosphate etc. from Jiulong River estuary and Western Xiamen Harbour during March,1987 and December,1988. Phosphorus exists mainly as particulate species in the water of the survey area.DOP is relatively the major species of phosphorus in the area, and one of the sources of biological essential phosphate as well as DIP. Distribution characteristics of the chemical species of phosphorus have obvious areal difference, and their seasonal changes are related with phytoplankton and suspended particulate matters.更多还原
