【Abstract】 Using ERBE and ISCCP data investigated are the forcing of cloud cover on the earth - atmosphere system outgoing longwave radiation (OLR), and effects of latitude and atmospheric temperature upon OLR,with analysis done of the similarity of the patterns of OLR to effective radiation at 500 hPa and surface. Study is also made of the OLR distribution features over the country, indicating that the winter (summer) OLR has a roughly zonal (asymmetric saddle) pattern and its annual distribution is similar to the Januarys.
