【Abstract】 The construction and working principles of fuel and air subsystems in a mechanical fuel injection system are described in this paper. Then the operating processes of their main components, such as eletric fuel pump, pressure regulator, nozzle, fuel distributor, cold starting valve and supplementary-air valve, etc. are analysed in detail.
