【摘要】 为在不改变汽油机燃烧室的状况下提供一种简便的稀燃手段，设计了涡流火花塞，并通过理论分析和汽油机试验，对这种火花塞的稀燃能力和节油效果进行了初步研究。研究表明，涡流火花塞具有稀气点燃能力强、燃烧迅速、有利于推迟点火等特点。经过化油器的适当调整，装有涡流火花塞的汽油机有明显的节油效果，但在高负荷时易炽热点火的问题尚需在实际应用前加以克服。更多还原

【Abstract】 A type of swirl spark plug is designed in order to provide a simple measure for lean-burn purpose under the conditon of keeping the gasoline engine combustion chamber unchanged. By means of theoretical analyses and engine tests, prelimirlary study on spark plug is conducted to clarify its lean burn ability and fuel-saving effect.With appropriate adjustment of carburetor, improvements in fuel combustion can be achieved in the gasoline engines equipped with the swirl spark plugs. The problem of preignition, apt to occur in high load, needs to be solved before its application in industry.更多还原
