【Abstract】 Two new biocides, i. e., tetradeeyl dimethyl (2-hydroxy) ethyl ammonium chloride andhexadecyl dimethyl (2-hydroxy) ethyl ammonium chloride, were synthesized. The structural identification was performed by quantitative elemental analysis, infrared absorption spectrometry, and nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometry.
