【Abstract】 Abstract In this study, we have prepared a mixture of Chinese traditional medicinal herbs Zeng-Gu-San.On the basis of a series of laboratorial studies, we tried to use it for the patients with periodontitis and with complete demure.25 patients diagnosed as medium or serious adult periodontitis and other 14 edentulovs patients were selected in the test.The results of lab study showed the medicinal herbs had no acute and chronic toxicity, and had apparently effects on animal model.The clinical observation indicated that after taking the medicine. GI and the average PD of the patients in study group were clearly reduced than that before. TM had been continuously reduced through the whole observation period and it tended to be steady at the later period. X-ray photographic observation showed that after treatment of ZenGuSan. the density of alveolar bone in most cases had been increased. comparing with that before treatmemt.更多还原
