【Abstract】 AbstractThis paper discribes a new species of the genus Parapetalocephala Kato, 1931,collected from Taiwan of China. The type specimen is deposited in the Insect Collection, Institute of Entomology, Zhongshan University.Parapetalocephola testacea sp. nov . (figs. 1--4)This species is similar to Parapetaloccphala montana Kato, but it is much largger size, the body is wholly pale testaceus color except for the basal angles of thescutellum and a spot at each tip of anal vein of the forewings castaneus, withoutother markings on the crown, scutellum and forewings found in the P. montana.
